Slow Return is an autobiographical project, driven by my need to find answers to a past influenced by fear and anxiety, fed by notions of intransience and impermanence. The need to take photographs arises spontaneously. I carry my camera with me everywhere. Then begins the approach to anonymous beings or bare and quiet places, where I feel more present the loneliness. Is an exploration of the moment, life, vitality, sexuality, sensuality, while still acknowledging our mortality. Above all, the sense of the moment, the ‘now’, pervades dirty soul. Spain, 2000-2007.
